What is KGU? About us.
We, KGU-Consulting GmbH, are an IT service company and today have around 50 employees at our location in Flensburg/Germany. We primarily support manufacturing companies in the design and implementation of software-supported information and communication systems. We concentrate on the areas Technical documentation und Product Lifecycle Management.
The synergy from the areas of technical documentation and PLM projects makes us a particularly strong partner in the implementation and support of PLM-based content management systems.
Technical documentation

We develop business solutions for the production of technical publications and implement them together in the company. We support our customers in operating and using them.
Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
In PLM, we specialize in software development in the Teamcenter environment. We support our customers with the implementation on the Teamcenter (UA) and Enterprise platforms.
The origin of KGU
Our company was established on July 1, 2002 founded by Mr. Klaus Günter and Mr. Jan-Christian Hach based in Flensburg. It initially consisted of a logical continuation of Klaus Günter's PLM consulting and project activities at Danfoss Drives A/S and Sauer-Danfoss ApS in Denmark. As early as 2003, based on the experiences from a Danfoss Drives project, we started developing a Teamcenter-based technical editing system. The software was taken over by Siemens PLM Software in 2006 and brought to market under the name Teamcenter Content Management (CMM).
Since then, we at Siemens PLM Software have been involved as a development partner in the further development of the product. In addition, our company has now become a strategic partner for Teamcenter CMM customer solutions. In addition, we have developed into a long-term partner for Teamcenter PLM projects with Siemens PLM Software and our own customers such as Danfoss Drives and Sauer-Danfoss.
Our vision
Together with our customers we will open up the fields of application of the Teamcenter technology and thus implement stable business solutions.
However, we will also expand our own customer base in order to open up market areas that are not the focus of Siemens PLM Software. Teamcenter will form the technical basis as a flexible system platform. The project experience of the past years is converted into consulting competence and will thus reach new customers.
Our core competencies lie in mastering and implementing software technologies and reliable project work. They will continue to form the framework on which our company, KGU-Consulting GmbH, will continue to develop.

Sport is very important in our company - either before work or afterwards - our own fitness studio leaves nothing to be desired. Of course there are changing rooms and shower facilities. Some colleagues like to come to the company by bike or company bike.

Health care is important to us. That's why there is a great massage chair for all employees in our library and our company doctor visits us regularly.

In our kitchens, colleagues can prepare any food they can imagine. Cooking and eating together strengthens team spirit.
